About the BAR
The British Association of Removers aims to be the recognised voice of the professional moving industry, to
provide a comprehensive range of essential services to its members, and to be the guardian of professional
standards for the benefit of its members and their customers.
Based in North Harrow, the head office handles all administration and organisational matters in connection
with the Association and its membership. It provides a complete support service for the BAR Board and the
various committees, ensuring that policy decisions are implemented while maintaining strong communication
links between all parts of the Association.
The head office is the hub of communications, acting both as a source of information and advice as well as a
point of reference for interaction between members.
