Storage There are many reasons why you might need to store furniture and effects: between moving houses, during a temporary job posting, while renovations or repairs to your house are carried out, or simply due to lack of space in your home. Should you need to put your possessions into store for a few days, a few weeks or indefinitely we have a 6000 sq.ft. purpose built container storage depot available for you. Where possible we will arrive at your property with the empty purpose built storage containers already on the vans. We will then wrap, pack and load your goods directly into the containers which means we will not need to handle your goods more than once. When the containers are closed they won't be opened again until you are ready to have your possessions out of store. If you do need access to your containers whilst they are in store, this can be arranged with a few days notice to ensure we are able to get the containers ready for you. There may be a small handling charge for this. We are very aware that, especially here in the Westcountry, there are many narrow lanes and sometimes access to a property can be restricted. For this reason we have included in our fleet two smaller vehicles on shorter wheelbases that tow good-sized container storage trailers. These vehicles have more manoeuverability than a large removal pantechnicon and have proved invaluable time and time again for both storage and direct house removals. For your extra peace of mind, our storage space is fully insured and comprehensively protected by a NACOSS approved fire and intruder alarm system. These alarms are monitored 24 hours by a Westcountry security firm. To help keep your costs down we have a number of half-sized containers available at a reduced rate. Outdoor type items that are too long or too large for the containers such as ladders and lengths of wood are stored within the warehouse on pallets. We produce detailed inventories of the goods that you store with us, copies of which are forwarded to your temporary address so we always have a comprehensive record of the goods in our care.
